Sense of purpose goes a long way in helping alleviate despair, depression and anxiety often linked with a sense of worthlessness. Delivering Mobile Meals, visiting those who are shut in or any number of things which positively express our innate gifts and contribute to the betterment of ourselves and others are a few examples. This is in sharp contrast to the drug dealer who finds his purpose to prey upon addicts to their detriment.

It may be difficult for us to will ourselves out of the pits of despair and force ourselves to take one step at a time to begin the process of finding a purpose which feels right to us, but it is vital to do just that.
