Meet Our Presenter
Joe Feldman, Cover My Mental Health President and Founder
After overcoming denials for his adolescent’s residential care, Joe Feldman began advocating for access to mental health care, including a successful federal lawsuit. His advocacy for mental healthcare access has included a board role with Kennedy Forum Illinois; a publication in the Journal of Psychiatric Practice on medical necessity letters; presentations to clinicians, advocacy groups, parents, and community groups; and briefing legislators and regulators.
