On September 18, 2026, Mental Health America of Spartanburg County welcomed Anna Bellew, MPH, Radial’s Spartanburg Provider Relations Manager, for our September Education Series presentation, “Beyond the Basics: Brain-Based Treatments for Better Outcomes.”
The session provided an opportunity for community members and behavioral health professionals to learn more about interventional psychiatric treatments available for individuals who may not have achieved the desired results through traditional medication management. In promoting the program, Bellew described the session as an opportunity to explore these treatment options, their potential benefits, and how individuals can access this type of care locally in Spartanburg.
Expanding the Conversation Around Mental Health Treatment
Mental health treatment is not one-size-fits-all. For some individuals, traditional approaches may not provide the level of relief they need. Education about additional treatment options can help individuals, families, clinicians, and other community partners better understand the resources that may be available when symptoms persist.
Through programs like our Education Series, Mental Health America of Spartanburg County works to create opportunities for learning, connection, and open conversations about mental health. Bringing local professionals and community members together also helps strengthen awareness of resources available right here in the Upstate.
