Here you can find information on our upcoming topics and speakers.

As a major part of outreach, Mental Health America of Spartanburg County hosts the annual Educational Series. We offer six sessions throughout the calendar year. We work hard to survey our audience for interests and then feature the most relevant speakers and topics.

2026 Educational Series

Education sessions are held every other month, the second Thursday of the month. Events are free to the public. Social workers and counselors can receive Continuing Education Credits for a nominal fee.

After finding that the hybrid model allows more community members to attend our event, we will continue to provide virtual and in-person offerings of this series throughout the 2026 year. Hybrid events will have a Zoom registration link in the event description. All events listed below indicate whether they are virtual only or hybrid. For hybrid events, in-person attendees will gather at Mary Black Foundation. Directions & a map can be found at the bottom of the registration form. Register in advance via the links below, and you will immediately receive additional instructions by email.

We hope you can participate and invite others to these events. Be sure to join our email list and follow us on Facebook for even more promotional details.
