Your Money and Your Mood

We’re excited to offer an upcoming opportunity to dive into the emotional and financial roots of compulsive spending. Thanks to a micro grant from Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union, Mental Health America of Spartanburg will be hosting a compulsive spending workshop on August 21, 2025!

This free evening workshop will explore the mental health factors that often underlie compulsive or addictive spending behaviors, followed by practical guidance from a financial planning expert to help participants build healthier money habits. Dinner will be provided!

This workshop is open to the public, and we especially encourage referrals for individuals who may benefit from support in understanding the emotional drivers of their financial choices.
