Meet Our Presenter
Alane Swain, BSN, MHA
Alane Swain, originally from Ohio, brings a wealth of experience from over a decade of active-duty service in the United States Air Force, where she excelled in clinical and leadership roles, including Group Executive Officer and Squadron Director of Operations. She trained as a perioperative nurse, a role she continues as a reservist, and led teams in delivering care to thousands of patients while advancing the Air Force’s Zero Harm initiative. Transitioning to the civilian sector as a Professional Development Specialist, Alane facilitated training for thousands of healthcare professionals annually, which introduced her to MHA-Spartanburg’s mission to improve mental health care. Residing with her family on a 28-acre tree farm in Spartanburg County, she remains dedicated to local veterans and community initiatives.
